“This walk is a celebration of giving to Eagan’s valued charities,” said Andy Schmitz, an Eagan Rotarian and co-chair of the walk. “The Live to Give Walk brings fun and joy to an outdoor walk with your neighbors. We encourage teams of all ages to register.”
Registration for the walk is free, but participants will receive a Live to Give t-shirt with a $100 donation.
Organizers are also encouraging teams to register, collect donations together, and choose a team-wide costume theme.
Event sponsorships remain available between $500 and $2,500. More details are available online.
SPACES will be this year’s title sponsor. The New York-based tech company has created a phone app for contactless car park entry, exit and payment via smartphone.
At this year’s Live to Give Walk, students from the Eagan High School Interact Club, a voluntary and charitable organization sponsored by the Rotary Club of Eagan, will be on hand to serve as hosts and guides.
Check-in for the walk will be from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. on the morning of the event.
Food and refreshments for purchase after the ride will include breakfast options provided by the California Dip & EAT Food Truck and a mimosa bar from Wildcats. Gus Sent Me will be performing classic southern country music for a second consecutive year.
