Tarrant County Veterans Council Presents Tarrant County Veterans Day Parade
“Greeting Our Veterans and First Responders” is the theme of this year’s Tarrant County Veterans Day Parade. Participants will train in the Panther Island Pavilion parking lot, walk down North Forest Park Blvd. along Clear Fork of the Trinity River and back. Before or after the event, veterans and active-duty military personnel can take advantage of the myriad of Veterans Day offerings in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Lone Star Film Festival
The Lone Star Film Festival 2021 will present 21 feature films and over 60 short films, screened over four days at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth and the Downtown Cowtown at the Isis. Headlining feature films include the opening night film Humans, closing film Jockey; The Marfa Bands – Jack Ingram, Miranda Lambert, Jon Randall; VI; and Who We Are: A Chronicle of Racism in America. The festival will continue until Sunday.

River & Blues Festival
The second annual River & Blues Festival takes place on Friday and Saturday at the Panther Island Pavilion, with a variety of country and blues concerts. Performers will include Aaron Watson, Larkin Poe, American Aquarium, Dirty River Boys, Ana Popovic, King Solomon Hicks, Micky & the Motorcars, Jon Robert & The Wreck, Cody Hibbard, Summer Dean, Kirk House, Dustin Massey and Squeezebox Bandits.

The festival, which runs on Saturday and Sunday, will feature traditional Japanese dance, taiko drumming, martial arts, sword demonstrations, raku pottery, food trucks, and more.
Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live
At Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live, fans can watch the famous Hot Wheels monster truck toys come to life in a full-size, kid-centric immersive experience. Taking place at Dickies Arena, the event will feature trucks like Bone Shaker, Tiger Shark, V8 Bomber and Demo Derby, as well as the original monster truck, BigFoot, and a special appearance of the fire-breathing, car-eating transformer robot.
