LifeNet welcomes WTO support for tissue donation

In May, LifeNet Health recognized the Olympic Medical Center for its outstanding support of tissue donation.

OMC received the Standards of Excellence in Tissue Donation Award, which is given to hospital partners who achieve and maintain high standards to initiate the donation process.

“Tissue donation enables members of our communities to lead healthy, productive and joyful lives, and OMC’s partnership in this process is invaluable,” said Heidi Murdock, Donor Relations Manager, LifeNet Health.

“LifeNet Health extends its sincere thanks to the Olympic Medical Center for all of their efforts and support of our mission to ‘Save Lives, Restore Health and Give Hope’.”

A tissue donor can help restore the health of more than 150 patients in need, WTO officials have said.

“Hospital partners are an essential part of the donation process and are essential in ensuring that the last wishes of a donor and their family to help others are honored,” the organization noted in a press release. .
