Muskegon dispensary giving out free marijuana for donations
Muskegon’s Reef Dispensary wants bags of dry dog food, towels and a list of other essentials. In exchange, you will receive a pre-rolled joint.
MUSKEGON, Michigan — A higher cause has a West Michigan dispensary saving buds for friends — The Muskegon Animal Sanctuary, Pound Buddies, that is.
Muskegon’s Reef Dispensary wants bags of dry dog food, towels and a list of other essentials.
It contains a free pre-rolled joint for anyone who makes it, in hopes of creating a difference-making donation for Pound Buddies.
The dispensary moved to the Muskegon area last September, and as a rescue dog owner, director Dakota Loera says it’s all about giving back and lending a helping hand to a great cause.
“It’s not like they get a lot of money from charities to get the dog food,” Loera said. “These people are very passionate about animals. I can’t wait to show up there with hopefully my car full of dog food and they’re just thrilled that the community is doing this for them.”
The ride runs from this weekend until mid-May.
Dakota says they’ll be doing more of these fundraisers in the future, focusing on good local causes.
