Safe Berks received a donation of $ 2,500 from Kinetic.

Safe Berks was nominated for the award by the Berks County Commissioners.

“Everyone at Safe Berks is very grateful for this generous technology grant from Kinetic,” said Beth Garrigan, CEO of Safe Berks. “This much needed grant will be used to help cover the costs of technology and security at our new administrative site at 147 N. Fifth St. in Reading. Thank you Kinetic for helping Safe Berks continue to provide the best possible service to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. We know that our services are more important than ever and that our services save lives.

Safe Berks provides free, confidential services to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. All services are available in English and Spanish, and the translation will be used for any other languages ​​required. Services include shelter, counseling, legal services, medical advocacy and education. The 24-hour Safe Berks hotline is 844-789-SAFE (7233) or text SAFE BERKS to 20121.
