Two Escambia men sentenced to jail for part in 2019 car burglary ring: NorthEscambia.com
Two men from Escambia County were sentenced to jail for their role in a car burglary ring in October 2019.
They reportedly went to several residential areas to steal and burglarize several vehicles.
Jacquavious Lamar Savage, 20, has filed a plea of no contest in six cases involving 11 felonies and two misdemeanors, including grand theft of a firearm, grand theft of an automobile, burglary of a means of unoccupied transport, attempted burglary of an unoccupied means of transport, grand theft and petty theft.
Between October 27, 2019 and October 30, 2019, Savage burglarized four cars, attempted to break into a fifth car, stole three cars, stole a gun, and took various other property from the cars.
Deonte Eric Brown, 18, was sentenced to 10 years in prison followed by 10 years of probation. He filed a plea of no contest in 11 cases, including gun theft, auto theft, burglary of an unoccupied vehicle, dealership theft, petty theft and fraudulent use of ‘a credit card.
Between October 18, 2019 and October 31, 2019, Brown allegedly stole three guns, six cars, burglarized nine cars, stole various items from the cars and used a stolen credit card in one of the vehicles.
