Winn-Dixie announces community giving program to benefit the Ochsner Cancer Institute
NEW ORLEANS–(COMMERCIAL THREAD) – Today, Winn-Dixie announces the launch of a community giving program during the month of October to raise funds for the Ochsner Cancer Institute. All money raised will help the renowned institution provide exceptional treatment and health care to people living with cancer, and will provide essential support and resources to families of cancer patients.
Until October 26, Winn-Dixie customers can round off their groceries at checkout or donate at checkout at any store in Louisiana to support local Ochsner Cancer Institute patients. Ochsner’s cancer centers across the state have been dedicated to cancer research and the development of new cancer treatments for more than 70 years. The funds raised will directly benefit the Ochsner Cancer Institute with the aim of having a positive impact on the quality of life of patients by providing world-class care in one of the best cancer centers in the southern Gulf.
